Big Bag Fishing's First Official YouTube Video... How Does it Feel?
Hello, fellow anglers and enthusiasts!
First off, I want to say thank you for being here.
Today, I wanted to talk about how I feel after posting my first YouTube video to the channel.
This, to me, felt like an endearing task. I kept asking myself, was the content right? Am I relaying what I want to relay to the possible future listeners while in front of the camera? Was I rambling or not making sense? There were so many nervous ticks leading up to actually filming the video.
All of that couldn’t have been further from what I actually feet after completing the video. You know, for a long time I considered making a channel as a defense against the, what I call, useless content floating around the web. I wanted to provide something different for the listeners. I wanted to provide an area for healthy general discussion about fishing related topics and learn new things together. I feel like after I created the video, there was a feeling of “I actually did it!” I started something that I whole heartedly believe in. Not for the views, or the subscribers, or the money! It’s just something that resonates with me.
In the end I feel like I was able to create a product from scratch and put something out there for the general public that was created from a place of general love for the angler.
If someone out there in internet land is reading this… GO FOR IT!! Set aside the time and create a channel for people to enjoy. Something that resonates with you! Not something aimed at the likes or views, but something that embodies who you truly are. There are people out there hoping to fall on what you have to offer, especially if it’s something that resonates with them as well.
If your interested in seeing the video or following the channel as we grow together, please hit the links at the top right of the page. If not, I am just glad I was able to reach out to you and hopefully brighten your day.
I wish all of you the best.. I am going to ride this feeling for a bit!
Again, tight lines and calm waters, my friends. This is only the beginning, and I can't wait to see where this journey takes us.
Until the next tide,
Nate
